Step into the ground floor of one of Rüschlikon’s oldest houses—a former wine farmhouse with four centuries of character.
The private entrance opens into a generous hall with original flooring, coat storage and laundry facilities. Beyond it, the apartment balances historic details and antique furniture with modern everyday comfort.
The private garden is an outdoor room of its own: lawn, flowers and vines, dining furniture and views towards Lake Zurich. It is the family’s small working vineyard—and the grapes even become homemade grappa.
The living and dining room centres on an inviting L-shaped sofa. The dining table seats four and doubles as a workspace overlooking the garden; a historic wood-fired stove adds atmosphere. Entertainment includes fast Wi-Fi, Apple TV, Netflix, books and board games.
The compact modern kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine and French press. The main bedroom has a 180 cm king bed; the second has a 160 cm four-poster and double doors opening directly to the garden. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.

This is a protected historic home dating from 1646. Original features and antique furnishings should be treated with care. Some ceilings and doorways are low—especially the doorway into the kitchen.
